 Since developing reflective materials quite 80 years ago, 3M has been dedicated to enhancing traffic safety round the world. As a member of the subsequent government committees for the last 20 years , namely: Indian Roads Congress (IRC), H1 committee (Road Safety, Transport Planning and Traffic Engineering committee), H7 committee (Road Safety and Design), H8 committee (Urban Roads), H10 committee (Hill and Tunnel Roads) and International Road Federation (IRF) – India chapter, our work encompasses partnering with them to standardise road signage and furniture on major Indian Highways and concrete roads.

 

 One of 3M prestigious projects was the installation of road safety signs and road furniture that enhanced visibility and traffic safety on the upgraded 656 km of NH8 in Gujarat. Our traffic safety solutions were also installed along the second longest bridge, Sonepur Digha. That legacy continues today with our mission to assist every driver, passenger, and pedestrian arrive home safely through smarter roadway infrastructure.
